Dr. Anderson is a co-founder of RunThatApp.com, a company developing
technology for running iOS and Android apps remotely via a browser. He also
co-founded CustomArray, Inc., a biotech company with
technology that reduces cost of writing DNA (such as for synthetic biology)
by a factor of 1000 compared to column synthesis, which was acquired by GenScript in 2018. Prior to that, he
co-founded and served in various capacities (including 2004-2010 as COO) for
CombiMatrix Corp., a company that has worked in biotech and diagnostics
(traded on Nasdaq, then acquired by Invitae, now part of Labcorp).
Prior to that, he co-founded and served as VP of R&D
for Acacia Research Corporation, a company that has worked in money
management, as an Internet incubator, and today in patent licensing ("ACTG"
on Nasdaq). Dr. Anderson received a B.S.E. in nuclear engineering from the University of
Michigan in 1985, summa cum laude, an M.S. in applied physics from the
California Institute of Technology in 1987, and a Ph.D. in computation and
neural systems from the California Institute of Technology in 1993.
Jim Merkle
CTO, RunThatApp.com
Mr. Merkle is a co-founder and Director of RunThatApp.com,
a company developing technology for running iOS and Android apps remotely
via a browser using safe javascript. He wrote all the technology for the
current version. He is an exceptionally talented senior software engineer
with several multimillion dollar generating products for several companies
primarily attributed to him. Many of his products were industry award
winning. He has a couple of granted US software patents where he was primary
inventor. James is OS agnostic and has written sophisticated driver level or
firmware code for Macintosh, Windows, battery powered devices and even small
mainframes. James earned a degree in Computer Science, but like most peers
in his league, rarely mentions it, nor maintains a collection of neckties.
